MFG Industrial Nest-Stack Fiberglass Container - 780408 stacks when full and, with a simple 180-degree turn, nests when empty. They are frequently used to handle hot castings or rubber parts from molds, as well as parts subjected to cryogenic treatments after molding.
♦ Outside Top:: 20-1/2" long x 12-7/8" wide x 8" high.
♦ Inside Bottom: 16-3/8" long x 11" wide x 7-7/8" high.
♦ Ideal for machine integration and robotic applications, and can be used continuously in temperatures ranging from -60° to 250° F (-51° to 121° C) and intermittently in temperatures 300° F and higher.
♦ Standard formulations are impervious to radiation, cutting oils, greases, solvents, detergents, mild acids, and alkaline solutions within a pH of 3.0 – 10.
Fiberglass containers feature a smooth outside surface and radial edges for safe, easy handling and are available with an optional wire-reinforced rim for added strength.
The container will not bend or sag under loads and, unlike metal, will not dent or corrode. Depending on size, an individual container can accommodate a maximum load capacity of 500 pounds.
Glass-reinforced thermosets increase in impact strength as temperatures decrease, and MFG Tray products have performed well in temperatures as low as -190° F. Standard formulations are impervious to radiation, cutting oils, greases, solvents, detergents, mild acids, and alkaline solutions within a pH of 3.0 – 10.0.

The benefits of MFG Fiberglass Nest and Stack Containers are designed for commercial and industrial applications where durability, resistance, and longevity are of prime concern. Here are some benefits of using these containers:
♦ Space Efficiency: Nesting allows empty containers to be stored inside one another, reducing storage space. Stacking permits loaded containers to be placed on each other, maximizing vertical storage space.
♦ Durability: Fiberglass is known for its durability and resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and impacts. This ensures a longer lifespan for the container, reducing replacement costs in the long run.
♦ Corrosion and Chemical Resistance: Fiberglass containers resist many chemicals, making them ideal for industries where containers may come in contact with corrosive materials.
♦ Lightweight: Despite its strength, fiberglass is relatively light, making it easier to handle, transport, and reposition containers.
♦ Resistant to Environmental Factors: Fiberglass doesn't rust, corrode, or degrade quickly when exposed to various environmental conditions. This is particularly beneficial for outdoor storage or use in harsh environments.
♦ Smooth Surface: The smooth finish of fiberglass containers makes cleaning easier and reduces the risk of product contamination.
♦ Customization: Fiberglass can be molded into various shapes, sizes, and colors, allowing customization based on specific industrial needs.
♦ Temperature Resistance: Fiberglass containers can often withstand a wide range of temperatures, making them suitable for various applications, from cold storage to high-temperature environments.
♦ Cost-Effective: While the initial investment might be higher than some alternative materials, the long lifespan and reduced maintenance costs can make fiberglass containers cost-effective in the long run.
♦ Non-conductive Nature: Fiberglass is non-conductive, making storing or transporting electrical equipment or components safer.
♦ Reduced Product Damage: The inherent strength and smooth interior surface of fiberglass can minimize damage to the contents during transportation or storage.
♦ Non-porous Surface: The non-porous nature of fiberglass makes these totes resistant to bacteria and other microbes, ensuring hygiene in applications like food service.
♦ UV Resistant: Some heavy-duty fiberglass containers are treated to be UV resistant, which means they won’t fade or become brittle when exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods.
♦ Impact Resistance: Due to the inherent properties of fiberglass, these totes can withstand impacts better than some other materials, reducing the likelihood of cracks or breaks.
MFG heavy-duty fiberglass containers can be a good investment in the food service industry, manufacturing, industrial, laboratory settings, or any other field requiring sturdy, reliable totes. Always ensure that the tote you select suits your specific application and meets any required regulatory or safety standards.
