Safety and security cannot be ignored when performing your daily tasks. Rousseau understands the importance of protecting users and items that need to be stored. This is why we have developed accessories to improve safety and security in each product line.
Rousseau heavy-duty cabinets offer various safety features. As its name suggests, our one-drawer-at-a-time mechanism prevents more than one drawer from being opened simultaneously. This increases the cabinet's stability and eliminates the risk of it falling forward when the drawers are open.
As for the integrated lock-in mechanism, it prevents drawers from opening by themselves when the cabinet is moved. When you want to open a drawer, the locking mechanism intuitively deactivates when you lift the handle. Rousseau is the only manufacturer to offer this unique and patented mechanism, making accessing drawer contents easy and safe. Another option with a similar function is our Econo lock-in mechanism. Like its counterpart, it prevents drawers from opening when the cabinet is moved. This particular mechanism, however, must be activated using the thumb. These two solutions are essential for mobile cabinets or when used in a truck.
For secure access to the contents of toolboxes, Rousseau also offers different types of locks. As well as key locks and padlocks, Rousseau offers an electronic lock that provides advanced access control to multiple cabinets. Keying in a code provides access to the cabinet. Each user can have their own unique code to access multiple cabinets. Whichever lock is chosen, items and equipment can all be stored securely so that they only remain accessible to those who need them.
